CREDIT UNION QUIZ 2023
Boy's from 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th classes represented our school in both the Under 11 and under 13 categories of the Credit Union Quiz competition in January. It was a great experience and we were thrilled when one of our Under 11 quiz teams and one of our Under 13 quiz teams fought off some stiff competition to qualify for the Chapter Final in Galway.
The victorious Under 11 team comprised of Danny Burke, Rory Nugent, Conor Gillen and Alex Hanley, while Darragh O'Flaherty, Leo Hanley, Rory Keane and Fionn Raftery were members of the successful Under 13 team.
The were extremely dedicated and continued to practice everyday during their lunch breaks. While the boys preformed admirably in the Chapter final - finishing in 3rd place and 5th place respectively, they did not qualify for the All Ireland on this occasion. Well done boys, we are very proud of you all!
